Gyratory Crusher Concaves For Popular Brands

Normally, gyratory crusher concaves are designed to 3 layers structure. The first layer and second layer are made by high chromium alloy steel, the third layer is manufactured by high manganese steel. Qiming Machinery is one of the largest gyratory crusher wear parts foundries in China. We have rich experience in casting gyratory crusher concaves with manganese and chromium steel, on the other hand, our engineers had improved the casting material. We use WS7 alloy steel to cast the first and second layers, this material Initial hardness more than 700 HBN, which is higher than chromium steel; Use WS5.5 alloy steel to cast the third layer, which impact and wear resistance better than manganese steel concave liners.

There are 3 layers of design in gyratory crusher:

Upper Intake Liners

  • Manganese alloys or WS5.5 alloy steel
  • Low-alloy steel, impact-resistant

Chamber Mid Liners

  • High manganese alloys or WS5.5 alloy steel
  • Low-alloy steel, abrasion and impact resistant

Chamber Bottom Liners

  • Low-alloy- steel, high abrasion, and impact resistant or WS7 alloy steel
  • High-chrome special, maximum abrasion resistance

 

Gyratory Crusher Concaves Material Selection For Different Stone

The standard concave alloy is manganese, but depending on the feed characteristics a variety of other alloys can be chosen to achieve the best cost per produced ton. The upper concave tiers must withstand high impact forces. The lower tiers require maximum abrasion resistance.
